And what are your options? Buy a new laptop because you can't upgrade. While the CPU will last very long because it's just powerful, the GPU will not because the new Apps/Games will be more GPU hungry. I know that the M1's GPU is fast and in the future models this will definitely going to improve, BUT for me the reason for using an eGPU is very simple.
